Privacy policy

Short version: our tools run in your browser, we don’t ask for your name or passport details, and we don’t use tracking or advertising cookies.

Who we are

Your Flight Help (yourflighthelp.com) is operated by John Robert, USA. Questions about it: [email protected].

What happens to what you enter in our tools

Our tools (the itinerary builder, dummy ticket generator, multi-city planner, calculators, code finders and checklist) work inside your browser. What you type into them, such as airports, dates, times, passenger numbers, cabin, airline, flight numbers and trip titles, isn’t sent to us.

The tools don’t ask for names, passport numbers, payment details or contact details. The trip title is free text, so please don’t enter personal details there. Copying a sample to your clipboard or printing it happens on your own device.

To work, some tools download airport and airline reference data from our own website. Those downloads contain no information about you.

Information in page addresses

Some tools add your choices, such as airport codes, search terms, dates and times, to the page address so that you can bookmark or share a result. If you open, reload or share an address like that, those choices travel with it like any other web address, and they can appear in the technical logs described below.

What our providers process when you visit

Like any website, ours can’t be delivered without some technical information about each visit.

  • Cloudflare, our network and security provider, handles every request before it reaches our server. It processes technical details such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. Cloudflare may also ask your browser to report connection failures to it.
  • Namecheap, our hosting provider, keeps server access logs with similar technical details.

We use this information only to deliver the website and keep it secure. Access logs are kept for as long as our hosting provider retains them.

Cookies and browser storage

We don’t set cookies, and we don’t load analytics, advertising or social media scripts. Our fonts and scripts are served from our own website.

The only thing the site stores on your device is your progress in the itinerary checklist. Your ticks are saved in your browser’s local storage, under the name yfh-checklist-v1, so they’re still there when you come back. They never leave your device. The checklist’s “Clear all ticks” button deletes them, and so does clearing your browser’s data for this site.

If we ever add cookies or analytics, we’ll update this policy before switching them on, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

If you email us

We receive your email address and your message, and use them only to reply to you.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t offer accounts, newsletters or payments.
  • We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking.
  • We don’t sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Links to other websites

Our guides link to official sources such as governments and airlines, and to the providers of our data. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data held about you, such as access, correction or deletion. We don’t hold data from our tools, so in practice this mostly concerns emails you’ve sent us. Email[email protected] and we’ll help, including with questions about provider logs.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date below.
